Out of probably a few thousand guns, only a standard old '94 in 30-30 back in 1978. There was no reason to sell it and it was superbly accurate which at the time I was to young to understand what I really had.

My 1936 version really likes a 250gr Barnes and 58grs of AA3100. Not real fast, about 2150fps if I remember right, but accuracy is fantastic. I've never had an elk withstand it.

Around here I would say the .300 win mag followed closely by the 30-06. As of today I've went through a bit over 13,000 large pistol primers, a hair under 1000 large rifle primers, but very few shotgun or small pistol primers this year. And probably not over 1000 22LR shells.

I have both! Also 41's and 45's. So far this year I've put a little over 13,000 rounds through my .44's. None through the 41's or 357's and less than 50 through one of the .45's.
