As some folks have already said, just buy one (a Ruger) of many made since 84/85 to present (2006) in a variety of forms...plus the little Ubertis also mentioned. Wouldn't pay to convert anything I wouldn't think. Prices not that bad. I take (part of) that back...some of the early adjustable sighted...

I can remember back in the early 60's when I was young (wait-a-minute i'm still young) and still live at home. We lived in the counrty and there was no stock laws so there were lots of free ranging hog, wild true but many had ear marks for ownership. Anyway, one day while out with my dad we came up...

If they do make it I bet it will be made on the 32 H&R that they recently dropped. No loading gate, tube loaded. This time lets hope they make it as a round barrel carbine. The 32 H&R with it's oct 20" and twin mag tubes was just too front heavy. 10-4 to that -- plus, I sure wish they'...

I agree with those saying "patience"--if you can. Admittedly an anomaly unfortunately, but I was lucky to be one of those that just happened upon a new/not-in-box one within the past nine months - in the $550 territory - delivered and FFL'd--to match a NIB .44 Mag I also lucked into a very...

Early Rossi 92 rear sight replacement options

Rather than hi-jack someone else's similar (but different) 92 sight question on the board now: I've had similar questions regarding improving upon the regular (rear) sight on my early (Interarms) Rossi 92s...and would like to install semi or full buckhorns. Rossi's gone through a couple of different eras. Before the dastardly black stain of the late 80s through 90s, the finish was actually pretty "normal" and I've had no problems with the number of early Interarms 92s I've had. Wasn't American walnut, but not bad. Some better looking wood tha...
