Interesting project! However they do tend to use some rather nasty chemicals in the glue of plywood. I would want to have wax paper between the wood and the tortilla if I were to use such a press.

Reloading is not magic, it's weights and measures and following a recipe. I used the Lee deluxe 4 die carbide set for 45acp and never ever had one malfunction or failure, the post sizing die is the key there. Stopped by my favorite gun shop and in the bargain rack there were no less than 3 interesting firearms. None would be interesting to collectors as they are definitely not safe queens. I have not had jamming trouble with my 94ae in 44 magnum. An accuracy problem yes but the consensus of opinion is that that is the result of the loose butt stock which I need to fix. Then I will see if I need to move to peep sights or a scope.

The elephant in the room with all late model 94's is the questions of reliability and build quality of them. Both seemed to be getting rather spotty at best during the last few years of winchester production.
