My first toy gun was a set of cowboy cap guns in a double holster rig...came with a hat too...wore the outfit all day every day for a month after I got them for my 5th birthday!

I found some at Bass Pro last fall $30.95.... I was looking for 25-06 found none...I have never bought a box of .32 Been re-loading it since I finished the rifle. Witht he recent price jumps...reloading is paying again...go look at the price of .338 Win Mag.......... :o

Sounds like a Model 64 configuration...so it could be a "Frankenchester" or it could be a 64 and the person who told you about it just thought it was a 94 or it could be a 94 configuration/custom order or it could be........ With out pics or you having looked its difficult....and I am not ...

I'll be using my custom build Marlin 336A in the more wooded areas. It started life as a 30-30 carbine with very plain wood. When I got it it was very "Used". New barrel in 32 WS and mag tube and re-stocked...Its my favorite lever in my safe. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y88/husky9000/...

About 15 years ago, I bought some Buris Scopes that they were closing out, fixed 4x s to put on rifles for the gun show...I think I got them for $35 each + shipping...it was a great deal and I made money sellin ghtem later...but that was the last deal I saw from them...after that the good deals were...

There are for sure some issues with bullets and COL with the .375JDJ. Its just a fantasy I keep in the back of my mind. Maybe someday I will play around with it.....

Conversion to 356 would be neat...I have some info of a guy that does the work but its at home...I'll try to find it and post it...as to the gun you have...there are new/old stock barrels around for the 336A guns...I bought one in .32 win special, and changed a 30-30 carbine into the 336A version......

Have to love the .32...you can reload 170 grain bullet, the 170 grain bullet, or the ever popular 170 grain bullet...that said, I prefer the170 grain bullet :lol: It is my favorite levergun cartrage...I load and shoot it in my custom 336A Congrats on your score...shot it a lot...you too will fall in...

I stoped into one of my favorite gunshops today...they had 3 levers that caught my eye...Browning BLR in .308 carbine length, $450, A Winchester Big Bore 94 in .356 pre-safety and pristine $795 and a Marlin 336A 30-30 very nice but seemed high at $600.... I just looked...no money in the gun fund rig...

My 88 in .308 and the one in .243 both shoot minute of coyote...and deer...and elk...and ....I used a spray gun cleaner and cleaned the trigger...It cleaned up the trigger and made it much better on both guns...I bedded my .284...but it caused the stock to split...so use caution. The 88 is a great g...

You may have seen this before...it was a 336 100 year medalion gun in 30-30. I added a new barrel in .32 Win Special, and made it into a 336A configuration, cleaned polished and had it blued, and then custom wood with a Lyman Peep. When comparing the data in the, I always notw what the company sells as a business.....Speer is bullets, Hornady is bullets, Nosler again Bullets, so if its a bullet concern, I tend to follow those books closely....
