I no longer hunt, but I shoot a lot of lever gun and BPCR silhouettes as well as gong matches. Try calling RCBS. I know they offer alternate expander plug sizes for various calibers, and I think they'll fit the Lyman M dies. You can also try Buffalo Arms in Ponderay, Idaho. I believe they'll make you a custom expander.

86er, The RCBS bullet works fine from the magazine of a lever gun as much of the bullet intrudes into the case when seated to the crimp groove. The 311299 I mentioned is suitable for a single-shot only. A .30-30 loaded with this bullet will not feed from a tubular magazine, and though it can be load...

Bullets from my RCBS mould weigh 202 grains, lubed and checked. I'm loading much lighter with 5744 as I need only topple 200 meter rams with mine.

If you think 17A sights are pricey, you haven't checked other globe sights with interchangeable aperatures. The 17A's are a bargain.
