Horse sense

Watching b&w cowboy tv.

Can a mule and a horse pull in the same team? Will they cooperate or fight?

I've read about WWII Russian army teams of a horse and a cow pullling a wagon, but that always sounded phony to me.

What do you horse guys say?

Here abouts it is possible to buy propane by liquid volume although that is unusual.

Almost everyone agrees Dillon produces a very good line of reloading gear. Why then do they have to persuade me to buy those products with that kind of advertising? I find their cheesecake pictures insulting. Their magazine goes from the maibox into the trashcan each month without breaking the seals.

Acquired a beater .30-30 Sears rifle @ gushow today. Obvioulsy post '64; receiver finish messed up bigtime.

I assume it was made by Winchester.

Ideas how to reckon a ballpark date of mfgr?

Like a lot of you, I own about 75 guns. I'm a retired cop & I have been around guns my entire adult life.

Recently was given some factory .45acp 'self defense' rounds. Tried 'em at the range. They scared me.

You don't have to be a child to dislike enormous recoil and deafening report.

It was on the NBC news last night. Some Captain training Afghanies. No more info given other than he will be one of 6 honorees still alive from that conflict.

Pictured showed some youngish white guy although I'm nolt sure that was teha actual honoree.

The only time I use a vacuum cleaner is at deer camp. Because hearing protection is so readily available, I use it everytime I clean the floor.

Using eye & ear protection is not unmanly.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I wish I could get peaches to grow that well in Aridzona. :( We tend to have wasps and yellow jackets vs. hornets though.
