Dont think Ballards really an option unless you find a pre microgroove barrel. I believe that would be 55 or earlier. Also a new production barrel may not work with your current tube, band set up. try tightening the small screw right behind the gate. Its what holds it in place. If its broken, stripped or altogether out, the easiest way to get it back will be to drop the trigger plate so you can reach up in there good & hold the spring flatt while starting the screw.
