Don't personally have any interest in shooting cass myself but I do enjoy all the gun related stuff that it brings around. For instance Adirondakjack and all his work w/ 45 cal..........extremely interesting...THANK YOU Used to shoot 38 148 HBWC and fooled around a little bit loading them backwards....

Does anyone specifically know the difference in the temper of factory brass between the base(lower half) and shoulder, neck?
Never , ever ,anneal the bottom half because of pressure, but I would like to know the numbers if anyone has this knowledge.

I like it too.
Blade looks ground but not hollow ground , leading me to assume that the blade is not thick/heavy . Just right for shape and size. Never had a wrapped handle such as that in my hand but it looks very comfortable, thanks

Rough terrain makes this really bad for the stock. In a have to yes , other wise no , I won't abuse my mules like that. Easier on the rider by far than the stock. I have put in long days before and really don't mind but I ride mules and they are lots smoother than most horses and my saddle tree fits...
