Re: .357 mag levergun as a "bad times" gun

Over several years I made fortunate and cheap purchases of Marlin .357, 44 and 30-30 rifles. The .357 came with 400 rounds of reload 38 Spl and I now have 100 rounds of 44 Mag ammo. I sold the 30-30 to get the 44 Mag ammo plus dies and a couple of pounds of powder. I have a rifle my wife and I can s...

92 in 327 Magnum?

Has anyone here ever explored the possibility of a Model 92 in 327 Magnum? Living here in Indiana I think a Model 92 I could shoot with the 327 Magnum or with the tamer 32 Magnum would be versatile enough to handle 99% of the shooting I do. I have wished NEF would come out with their nice single sho...

Re: OT: One rifle & One pistol for all around use.

With those parameters here in NE Indiana I'd go with 357 Magnum revolver and 22LR in a long gun. An extra long gun would be a lever 357 if allowed.

Actually with my wife being a shooter too it opens it up to a collective 2 rifles and 2 handguns.
