Bigah, from around the mid 1950's Winchester 94's were produced with holes already drilled and tapped for receiver sights. Even the angle-eject versions have plugged holes that can be used to mount aftermarket sights without any drilling or tapping. You didn't say what vintage your 94 is. No matter....

Hi Mark, If you want to try a light load that's a nice plinker, try some Lyman 311008 cast bullets intended originally for the 32-20. Naw, Lastmocheken, the guy wasn't that tough. Winchester Powerpoints would have been good enough. My own choice would have been to load those 94's with handloads using the Lyman 311041.

Either one. 20 grains isn't a whole lot of difference, in spite of what some may think. Just zero your rifle for the bullet you're going to use and good luck.

Back in the 1970's there were repros of this model available. I bought one from EMF as I recall, and it came through with not the 4 inch, but a 6 inch barrel. I even had the little flask and mold, although I never molded any bullets with it. I used to shoot it with 000 buckshot, which fit perfectly....

a guy from my home town, Cavendish Vermont is a pretty good engraver. His name is Winston Churchill. Nice guy, but last I knew he had all the work he could handle, and while his prices are very high, his work is widely recognized as being worth it. Like many, I can't afford his stuff.
